Question-Where is Allah?

Question-Where is Allah?

Aas-salamu-aalaikum warahmatullahi wabr" my brothers and sisters in islam, this is very common question among muslims that they are confused regarding this question, that where is ALLAH.some one says that ALLAH is everywhere, some one says ALLAH is above the heaven, some one says ALLAH is in our heart, etc

as a muslim we all should know that where ALLAH is .and it is very important to know.

ALHAMDULILLAH,

so,we must answer according to Quran and hadith,

answer-

Allah swt is Above His Throne and He is Close to us by His Knowledge.

explanation-

ALLAH swt is above his throne and he is close to us by his knowledge .he himself is not present in this world.and he is not everywhere .He knows what inside a heart SubhanAllah.

according to Quran-

(Highness):
  ''-and He(ALLAH) is the Most-High, the Most-Great." [Holy-Quran2:255]

'Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Most-High.' [Holy-Quran87:1]

(Above):

'And He(ALLAH) is the subjugator over his servants.and he is the wise, the Acquainted'[Holy-Quran6:18]

“Allah, it is He Who has made the heavens and the earth, and all thing that are between them in six days. Then He established himself above the throne. You (mankind) have not besides Him any Wali (protector or helper) or an intercessor. Will you not be reminded?” [32:4]

Saying that Allah is with us it does not mean that He himself is mixed with (or dwells in) His creation; rather He is with His creation by His knowledge. He is above His Throne and nothing is hidden from Him in this world.Regard to the above ayah (interpretation of the meaning):

according to hadith-

It cannot be done to this topic without mentioning the authentic hadith about the slave-girl, whose faith was tested by just the same question, 'were is Allah?'

Muawiyah Bin Al-Hakam As-Salmi SAID:

"I had a slave-girl who used to herd sheepsfor me. One day I discovered that a wolf  killed one of her sheep, and I am a man from the children of Adam(pbuh), I get upset as they get upset, and I slapped her. Then I went to the Prophet muhammad(pbuh) who impressed upon me the seriousness of my act. I said, 'ya Rasulallah, should I not set her free?' He replied, 'Bring her to me.' He asked her, 'Where is Allah', She replied, 'He is above the heavens(avobe his thron).' He said, 'Who am I?' She replied, 'You are the Messenger of Allah.' then He said, 'Free her, for she is a believer.' (Muslim and Abu Dawud )

regarding to the above hadith this is clear that ALLAH is above his arsh(thron).and knowing this knowledge is a part of imaan.

never say that ALLAH is everywhere!

Conclusion-

there are many ayah in the holy-Quran are used by the liars and heretics to prove their claim that Allah is everywhere. Among them are the verses pointing to Allah's closeness to His Creation to the point of being closer than the jugular veins. then, if someone accepts that this is proof that Allah is everywhere, will one refute all the countless authentic arguments/verses/ahadith that were presented right here. Is it then that there is contradiction in the Book of Allah(quran), the Sunnah and that all the Imams of haq and the scholars have preached falsehood? No !but the demand that Allah is everywhere is misinterpretation to the point of being disbelief. These verses of Quran and hadith point to the fact that Allah swt is everywhere but only by His Knowledge, His Seeing, His Hearing and His Power. Only this explanation will allow one to be in compliance with all the other proofs from the Holy- Quran, the Sunnah and the Ijma of the companions of deen.

 and ALLAH KNOWS BEST
